Ham and melon brochettes

A simple and filling dish that can be prepared whenever this summer fruit is available. Refreshing, light and nutritional, this melon and ham combination is tasty and appetising.

Ingredients

150 g Campofrío ham
1/2 melon
1 sprig of basil

Preparation

  1. Use a scoop to make melon balls.
  2. Split the ham slices into two portions.
  3. Prepare the brochettes by first inserting a ball of melon, followed by a basil leaf, and then complete with the ham.
  4. Chop some basil and sprinkle over the brochettes.

A ripe melon. Here’s our tip: a melon is ready to eat if it smells sweet and has a juicy texture.
